Four academically advanced fourth grade students are participating in a pilot ACE (Advanced Challenges and Explorations) class this school year. Led by Mrs. Habisreitinger, or Mrs. "Habby," the students spend two class periods per week digging deeper into History and Science topics.
The students recently became amateur entomologists this month by catching, cataloging, displaying and studying insects. The students and their families also were invited to visit a local apiary, or bee farm, courtesy of Dr. George Anthon.
CCS hopes to expand the ACE class opportunity to other grades and students in future school years. If you have any questions about the ACE program, please contact Dr. Lamonte at klamonte@courtneycs.org
