Faculty & Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Kimberly Montgomery

Mrs. Kimberly Montgomery began her career at Courtney Christian School as an adored Kindergarten teacher, and this year she moved to second grade. She has been a teacher for eight years, five of which have been at CCS. If you were to visit Mrs. Montgomery’s classroom, you would see that it is peaceful, creative and full of love.

Mrs. Montgomery has experience teaching students from age three to 14. She enjoys teaching and spending time with every age group.

Mrs. Montgomery said, “I absolutely love spending my days with my students! I love how invested they are in academics and the excitement that they have for learning something new. I love taking lessons and adding hands-on activities to make learning interactive and, most of all, fun!”

A parent of a student in her class this year said, “Mrs. Montgomery is an amazing educator! She has MANY strengths including planning and implementing engaging lessons, communicating effectively with parents and setting high goals for her students. She has helped (my student) grow academically, socially and spiritually.”

Mrs. Montgomery has two daughters: Lily, who is in 5th grade, and Blake, who is five months old. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time at the bookstore reading and drinking coffee, reading devotionals, cooking new recipes, activities with her family and thrift shopping.
